leiomyomatous uterus

I have been on chemo for stage 4 renal cell cancer & am doing very well with almost no sign left of the cancer, however I got my cat scan results the other day & included in the report was a "markedly heterogeneous uterous consistent with leiomyomatous uterus". It was just a line item in the report. What does that mean exactly? Apparently the radiologist just mentioned it & nothing further about that particular finding.
Thank you, Cindi

Hi There
that is a fibroid uterus
totally benign.Sometimes fibroids can grow and that is a reason for a hysterectomy.Otherwise stable fibroids can be just watched.

You need to get a dedicated pelvic ultrasound to confirm that that is what is being seen
best wishes
