I ahd a cyst taken out of my right side (along with my ovary and fallopian tube) last week. There is plenty of information on the internet. If you have a "feeling" something may be wrong go and get it checked out before you have to have your stomach opened up.
My symptoms in a nutshell were:
-feeling of a bloated abdomen
-urinary incontinence
-pain during intercourse
-sharp pain in my lower right abdomen
-diarrhea
-fatigue
-I could feel the darn thing but thought it was my bladder.

Here is what I posted the other day:
I am on the pill and went to the emergency room on July 21st because I had extreme pain in my lower right abdomen. I thought it was appendicitis. Had an ultrasound and turned out it was a huge ovarian cyst. Went in for emergengy surgery that evening. They took out my right fallopian tube (which had wrapped itself around the cyst), the cyst and my ovary (which had "died" because the cyst cut the blood supply off). The total package was over 6 inches in length. Nothing yet from the pathologist - I suppose it was malignant for whatever type of cyst it was. My surgery was late at night and the pathologist had already gone home. Dr. thought it wasn't going to be something to worry about so he didn't call him in.
Had my yearly in March. Told nurse that I was having bleeding in between my periods and that I had recently been losing battles in racing to the toilet for what seemed a very small amount of urine. She didn't think anything of it. Her feeling around in there didn't reveal anything either. I would occasionally wake up and not be able to straighten myself because it hurt so much. The cyst was pushing against my bladder. Occasionally I would wake up and feel what I thought was my bladder (cause it was full after a nights rest). It may have been the cyst!
Do you have any other symptoms?
I also get pains in my vagina.
