I did go in for the vomiting blood - they figured it was stress related - maybe acid reflux - I just didnt know for sure - it certainly seemed alarming - it has since ceased. It was an emergency - I had a torsion of the ovary - it was flipped more than 5x! The pain didnt even fall on the 1-10 scale... They took it out 6 hrs after I got there - no negotiating! I'm just hving a rough recovery - so far the baby seems okay - but I've been hearing alot about people on hormones even with one remaining ovary - just to keep their levels healthy - here I am pregnant and they dont 'think' it is a necessity... It just seems too iffy to me.....
Unfortunately, I can't offer you any advice based on experience, but if I were pregnant and vomiting blood, I would be in the ER for sure. Don't take any chances. Better to be annoying and overreactive than to take a chance that something else is wrong. Have they referred you to any kind of specialist? I would think that would be the first thing they would do. Why did they operate on you while you were pregnant? Was it an emergency?
