other reasons for abnormal ca125
I am reading that there are "other reasons" the ca 125 can come back abnormal. Does anyone know what any of those "other reasons" are?

there are several reasons for an elevated ca125 including , Fibroids, Endometriosis,pelvic inflammatory disease,normal mentruation , common cold or chest infection and many more.

A higher than normal CA125 can also be caused by endometriosis.

By abnormal I'm assuming you mean a high reading, doctors watch for a trend they don't just rely on one reading. A scan needs to be done in conjunction with a CA125 test, i've also heard that sinusitis or a virus can elevate a reading.
