wow, i think you guys got it wrong. i meant no disrespect to those that are going through oc here. but this forum out of the rest made me feel at home and was there for me when i WAS WORRIED ABOUT my cyst being cancerous. so after a while, all of a suddent being told that my cyst question should be posted somewhere else, its confusing. i know its not a cancer question, but bottom line is that i felt you guys would know best about it. my trying to get pregnant was not the reason i came one here . i asked a simple cyst question. and asking differetn questions in different forums is not something that you should worry about and research. that doest mean anything . i am not concerened about worried too much about medical issues. but when you have a question, you know that people are here for you on this website. so i feel comfortable to post it!  i meant no disrespect.

All I did was to put her name in the search and it came up with many of her posts no matter which forum it was posted on.   If you can remember who made the post you are looking for maybe that will help.  have a great day Anna   Marty

You said that you were able to do a name search and find posts - excellent. I was trying to find an old post last week and gave up in the end after hours of trawling through messgae after message in the archieve list with just the subject title alluding to its content. How do you do this 'name search' you speak of. HA HA HA -

I have to be honest I am trying to get pregnant and I have been investing my time in here for over a year and a half but I wouldnt dream of asking any questions about 'pregnancy' in here. There is a question mark hanging over my fertility also - and yes - the strain it is causing me emotionally is quite something. However it is nothing short of insensitive to go on and on about pregnancy in a forum that deals with woman who will never have that worry at all. Perhaps because I was initially supposed to have both ovaries removed I have a deeper insight into the AGONY of seeing pregnant woman in the super market, on the bus - EVERYWHERE.

Everyone is welcome, and issues about cysts are certainly dealt with here - absolutely. Until a cyst is DX either way the journey for all the woman who come here is the same. If cysts where not dealt with here and only Cancer we would not be in a position to encourage women to push for the early treatment they need. It is not just about support for those already DX. In fact I strongly believe that we have collectively saved lives by discussing symtoms and encouraging woman to persue treatment against the tide. We are the cyst experts there is no doubt about it. This forum is not just for woman who have Ovarian cancer. The women in here all strongly agree with that! But that is the name over the door my friend. In part the reason it is not just about Cancer is because the wonderfull women in here have welcomed all - including yourself, and me. I think the least that can be done is to exersise a little thought and concideration to the feelings of others - right? I am sure that you would not disagree would you? You cant just put your size 10 boots on and come ploughing in. You must think about what you are writting and who is going to read it. Yes women with OC have to accept that there are woman without it and women who are going to have families BUT this is their refuge - we are invited - show some respect!

I am sorry but I have to agree. The main concern for the women on this forum is ovarian cancer. Granted sometimes it will go hand in hand with ovarian cysts. But worrying about cysts causing late periods or if you could be pregnant definately belongs on a different forum. I didn't see where anyone "kicked " you out of this forum. They were only trying to steer you in the right direction to get answers to you questions. I think SimplyStar put it right, try to stop worrying so much about so many medical issues. Try to focus on something else and you might be able to get pregnant. There are just a lot of your questions that we here are not able to answer. You would probably get the answers you are looking for by asking youtr Dr.

I did a little research on your posts on MedHelp Boosty, over 80 different ones on so many topics, maybe you can find another forum  that will be able to help you more than this one can.  Cosmetic surgery, child behavior, fertility are just a few of the many that are listed under your name.  I would just like to suggest that you talk with your doctor about your concerns and quit trying to find the answers on here.  When I suggested you get a life outisde of your medical problems I meant maybe you need to focus on something else and let your body relax and maybe then you will get PG.

bootsy, I am sorry I posted to you, and you were not nice to Simply Star.  I started this with my post..  What I wanted to say was this isthe ovarian cancer forum, not the ovarian cyst forum.  We answer questions about cysts for women as they relate to ovarian cancer.  You stated in earlier posts that you have polycystic ovaries, that is a complex disorder that in endocrine as well as gyn.  Good luck with your treatment, may you get pregnant.

how rude of you. specially when i have stood up for YOU before on this website. i dont understand what part of my question was soooo out of the subject of this forum that you guys have to get this ugly about it. i have never had "anxiety" issue on this site so i dont know if youre even thinking of soemone else. when i had a comlex cyst that was removed and i had questions about cysts before , noone complained and kicked me out of this forum, and when i answered thousands of questions that were not about cancer on this site, noone complained. now that i have a cyst question you guys are getting ugly. that is not right to treat someoen who thinks you guys may be able to know best.

You need to get a life outside of your medical problems,  we tried to help you before with your anxiety problems, to no avail evidently.  Let the ladies that are dealing with cancer issues answer the posts on this forum, they are experts.  You are actually hurting the feelings of some of them,  many are still young enough to have children , but cannot because they have lost that ability, they are now fighting for their lives.  YOU DO NOT HAVE AN OVCA MEDICAL PROBLEM.  This is an OVCA forum.

oh my God, i am getting really fed up with people who do this like you. you have to UNDERSTAND that this WEBSITE has two forums i can seek help in. one is fertility and one here. my question is not just a fertility question. it was about cysts. i have been answering questions in the cancer forum here and seeking help also for a few months now. since i had to remove my cyst in may. so i feel like you all are pretty much become experts with cysts. i know i dont have cancer. i thank God for that. and i am here to help whoever is unfortunatelly going through that pain with whatever i can offer, but i dont think that i have to have cancer just to ask "ovarian" questions here. i felt that you all may know a bit more about this than the fertility forum. although i did post my questions there too. for those who may not knwo the answer to some questions , they have the choice to simply not answer. thank you!

Bootsy, didn't you mean to post this on the Gyncology forum or the fertility forum?  You have Polycystic ovaries and that is different that regular cyst problems.  A large majority of us that answer questions are dealing with cysts and cancer questions, I for one know nothing about getting preqnant with cysts.  Please give them a try, your cystic condition is very different that what we are dealing with.  I am sorry if this offends you, however we do deal with cancer and for some trying to perserve fertililty if they can.

first of all, thank you for your comment. i am aware of my body and i have a two and a half year old so i have been through pregnancy. you misunderstood my quesiton. i go for ultrasound every month to see if i ovulated. last month, my doctor told me that i have a cyst on each ovary that just grew in that same month. she didnt tell me if that will cause me to have a late period or if i ovulated at all. i know its a question i should ask her but i mainly just wanna know could i be late on my period this month because of the cyst? even if my cyst just grew this month? i have pcos so i know i have lots of cysts. just two larger ones now. i have had a cyst removed before too. i do want to wait til my cysts are gone. i JUST found out thati  have a cyst last month. it just grew last month. i didnt have it two months ago. so now, i will wait til its gone ofcourse. i am going for ultrsound when my period starts again to see how they are.

Boosty I dont mean to state the obvious but it always baffles me when women come on forums asking "could I be pregnant" surely to goodness the most obvious solution is a pregnancy test. If you had an ultrasound last month of course you could have gotten pregnant since! That was a month ago. I feel that if you are going to have a baby you should learn a little bit more about your body. Yes the cyst will play havoc with menstration When I had mine I missed 3 periods altogether. There are also many other reasons for a late period. If you are usually regular the most obvious is pregnancy. I too am trying to get pregnant and the sheer stress may make you a little late. Very sore breasts is the indicator we use as the first sympton at the teenage pregnancy centre?

Still not sure why you dont put of the pregnancy till the cysts are gone?
