ovarian ca stage4

last jan 2010, my aunt was diagnosed to have ovarian ca, she is single & doesn't have kids, she undergone surgery, TAHBSO(removal of ovaries, fallopian tube, and uterus), and biopsy confirms positive malignant cells..her onco told us stage 1c, she underwent chemo treatment, 3x, then had another surgery because of tumor reccurence, and now the surgeon told me that it was now spread to her liver, which is stage 4. i can't believe it progresses so fast. i hope my aunt could still recover.. would it be possible? her onco won't answer me. it frightens me a lot.

Nobody has that answer question.  Is it possible that she can beat the odds, yes, anything is possible.  The most important thing you can do for your aunt is be there to give her love and support.....and offer to help in anyway you can.....maybe take her when she has to go for chemo.....maybe offer to clean her house....there is a lot that she will need assistance with.
Chemo is not easy, but, most women will tell you that it is doable.
Best of luck to you and your aunt and your entire family.
