Yes, I am to go back in. I am just trying to space out the $. A hormone test was suggested but it is pretty expensive so the plan is to do that last. Thanks again.
If your periods have been irregular since you've been off birth control, then it would explain a thicker endometrial lining. Did they mention that it's an issue? It's possible you also have polycystic ovarian disease which can be determined through hormonal tests.
Did they suggest follow-up?
The endometrial lining measurement is 3 days after my period. Does that make a difference?
Thanks for your input. It just seems odd to me that so many things are going on at once. I would think they are all tied to the same reason/cause. Maybe I am caught up in my own head too much.
If were approaching your period, an 8mm endometrial stripe would be right in line with what it should be. Simple cysts aren't terribly concerning and can be watched to see if they go away. Your biopsy showed cervicitis, which is a common inflammation of the cervix and will cause a positive pap test. It can be chronic but isn't terribly alarming from cancer standpoint.
Your cramps could be a result of endometriosis which they might or might not have seen in the ultrasound. Bad cramps can be common in women who've never had kids even without endometriosis.
Instead of Darvocet, try Motrin which is an anti-inflammatory and will help relax the cramping of the uterus as well.
Persistent yeast infections could be a sign of a sugar imbalance. You might want to get your sugar levels tested.
