Hi There,
I think less of cancer and more of something like endometriosis which can give you these symptoms.
If you are suffering from these symptoms, that may be a reason to at least consider a laparoscopy to look inside and possibly remove the cysts.
with abnormal bleeding at age 40, you need at least an office biopsy of the lining of your uterus. If you are going to have a laparoscopy, you could have a D&C at the same time.
these are issues to discuss with your doctor when you meet.
good luck with everything
A lot of pelvic pain..lower back pain cramps ,menstrual is heavy bleeding, could b for a week or 18 days or longer. I could go the whole month just with brown discharge..and the pain is a lot..I don't think I don't have cancer risk I have 2 sisters who had everything taken out.. Don't kno why thank you
Hi there,
your ovarian cysts are stable and perhaps a bit smaller than 8 months ago
this tells me that they are not cysts of ovulation as those would not persist for 8 months
also they are not growing so it is unlikely that they are malignant
the most likely diagnosis is endometriosis
however,context is important
such as
what are your symptoms
risk factors for cancer
menstrual history
best wishes
