I would say that her Dr.s seem to be leaning towards the ovca diagnosis. I would only allow a gyn/onc to do the surgery on her. So at this point I would recommend her going to a gyn/onc. They can suspect ovca and be correct, but it's not until the surgery and pathology that they can say with certainty that it is ovca and what stage she is. She does seem to be on the right track at this point, but I would again like to stress on you that she use a onc/gyn for any more visits or surgeries. There is documented proof that women who use a gyn/onc have a better overall outcome with this disease...and as nasty as this disease is a specialist is your best bet. Good luck~~~Joanne
