please let me clarify

i did not mean to offend anyone with my post last night.i also think, that you all thought i decided to leave because i was in the 99% club, and this is a ovca site..that is not the case at all..EVERYONE here whether you have had ovca or not has truely been wonderful...maybe i should not have even sent that post.i feel lost to a point anymore.besides my cysts, and the fibroids,i was for the most part healthy before my hysterectomy in january..and now,i am not,and its driving me crazy.yes,i do feel like i whine on here..it seems as though the only time i post is when i have a question,or to ***** about something else medically that has gone wrong..i dont know which way to turn about my situation anymore...i feel i dont have anything to offer you ladies anymore..i once was able to give all my support, and advise, and just a simple cyber hug..now im so wrapped up in all my health drama, that i havent been doing that..i also had been reading some of the newer posts from some of the  ladies in the 1%club about how generally this forum doesnt even discuss ovca, and it was at that moment that i realized just what a whinney cry baby i am..here i come on here,to cry about some mrsa infection, and my incision that will not close, and these woman are fighting the biggest hardest fight of there lives..there is no comparison at all,and i feel like a heal..i appalogize to any of you who are battleing this, and have seen me go on and fuss over my situation..it is totally unfair of me to do that.i think, however,i may not have this next surgery.i dont know how much more i can take.i dont want cut on

Sonie, after one of my surgeries (an ovary removal)I had tons of problems with it opening, infections, etc.  (You know the drill).  I was left with a huge red ugly bumpy lumpy scar, they called it fibrous tissue & also called it a large keloid.  I had it injected (a LOT of injections) by a dermatologist with cortosone ... WOW did that hurt...but after some time it helped incredibly. It took a while to work completely. It softened up and sunk down, I was really happy.  Before I had that done you could see it through some of my clothes... This was a while back, when I was a lot younger, not sure what they do in modern times!! lol
Gosh Girl I AM glad to be able to talk to you again!
Love Katie
PS tell us a teeny bit about the new house pleeeeese  :-)

Hi Sonie
The house sounds so nice and having a veranda
going all the way around the house that sounds so nice.I'm so happy for you and your family.
Now i wish the houses here in OZ had basements and attics i could feel them up so easy with all the stuff we have.
I know this is going to sound strange but do you have laundrys in houses there? or is the basement where you put washing machine and dryers?

Wow having to go the laundry mat with clothes all the time that would be a pain.
Now ok here is another question that is going to sound strange.
But do you all hang your clothes out on a clothesline or do you mostly use the dryer?
Do you need to do anything to the house at all?

Wow...Great advice Linda and Katie. Great details.

Of course, a plastic surgeon! I had scar revision surgery two times. The skin/fat got so very puffy on either side of the scar. And, even when I was heavier when I was younger, I had a flat stomach. This thing stood out like a sore thumb. I figured I would have to just deal with it, but finally I went to see someone about it (a plastic surgeon, board certified...great point, Linda). So, the doctor took care of the "poof" and the thing settled down. Several doctors noticed how raw and rough it looked (zipper style cut/scar) and I didn't think it would ever blend in with the rest of my body. But, in a way it has. Still can be noticed, but it is about 90 % better than 5 years ago.

You never know where these discussions will lead and how helpful almost anything can be to another person. Well, that's my saying for the day!

Take care!

Mary
