relief X 2

Hi ladies,
I thought some good news would be welcome, My GYN just called that the vaginal biopsies he took last week, came back negative for CA, and yesterday my mammogram report came saying there was no evidence of breast cancer.
I'm BRCA2 positive, so that was a concern, of course.

So 2 good reports, and now I can breathe again. if the Topotecan continues to contain my OVCA, and my scan next month shows no spread, I'll be a happy and  totally relieved lady.

I know how tough it is, waiting for the next test result to come back, we all understand the tension and we're all in this together, to support each other. That's such a blessing.

Feel good, and have a pleasant day,
Jane

That is great news and wish you total freedom from this nuisance, putting it mildly. What were the side effects of Topetecan ? My CA125 has jumped to 131 from 28. I am looking at options and I will go for another CA125 count sometime next month followed by a visit to my gyne-oncologist. I had a recurrence of low malignant potential OVCA.
