How long can a woman be in remission for Ovarian Cancer I had total hysterectomy in 1994 and am having pain in the same area that I did when diagnosed.

There is no way to predict length of remission, some of us never have a remission.

If you're having pain, call your doctor and get an appointment to be checked out. That will put your mind at peace, and if necessary you can be scheduled for tests.

Good luck,

Good luck, and keep us informed, remember it can be anything causing the pain.

The record, as far as I know, was held by a woman who was in remission for more than 50 years.
Best of luck to you.
