Complex means the cyst has both liquid and solid components. A cyst can still be considered simple and have septations; that just means the cyst has "compartments", but that they are fluid filled.
Hello. I recently had an trans vag ultrasound and learned that I have a 23 mm simple cyst and a smaller septated cyst that did not have a size listed. I asked if septated ment that it was complex and I was told that both of my cysts were simple. I don't understand how it could be simple and septated. Do you know anything about this?
