severe pain

need help now sharp stabbing pains bloated to 6 month pregnant.  obgyn blowing it off it has gotten worse.  reg doc suggest er even after i told them what the doctor says. everybody is asking if i am sure i need to go the pain is bad.  my family is wondering what it is and if i think i need to go.  what do i say i do not know if it has twisted or ruptured.  no ins pain in back.  help some advice do have complex ovarian cyst 7.5 on left ovary

I AM SO SORRY TO HEAR ABOUT WHAT YOU ARE GOING THROUGH.  I HAVE BEEN SO WRAPPED UP IN MY PROBLEMS AND I SOMETIMES FORGET THAT OTHER PEOPLE ARE GOING THROUGH SO MUCH MORE.  I DO NOT KNOW WHAT YOUR FINANCIAL SITUATION IS AND THE HOSPITAL WILL NOT TELL YOU UNLESS YOU ASK.  BUT THERE IS A GRANT FROM THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT THAT IS FOR PEOPLE WHO ARE IN THAT IN BETWEEN STAGE ON INCOME.  IT IS CALLED THE FORGIVENESS GRANT DEPENDING ON YOUR INCOME IT WILL HELP WITH UP TO 100 PERCENT OF YOUR HOSPITAL BILL.  LIKE THE OPERATION ROOM WHICH THOSE BILLS CAN ADD UP.  I ALSO WOULD LIKE TO SEE SOMETHING DONE WITH THE EARLY OVARIAN DETECTION BECAUSE THAT IS ALSO A VERY SERIOUS PROBLEM NOT JUST BREAST AND CERVICAL CANCER.  I DID FIND OUT THOUGH WITH MY STATE THE PROGRAM SHOW ME HEALTHY WOMEN WHICH DEALS WITH THE EARLY DETECTION OF BREAST OR CERVICAL CANCER DOES NOT COVER ANYONE UNDER 35.  WHICH HAS ADDED A HITCH TO MY PROCESS HERE.  I HAVE MY LAP SURGERY FRIDAY.  I UNDERSTAND YOUR FRUSTERATION ABOUT EVERYTHING.  THE REASON I DID NOT GET INSURANCE WAS BECAUSE I HAVE HAD ENDO AND EVERYONE WANTED 300 TO 400 A MONTH NOT COVERING ANY GIRLY PROBLEMS FOR A YEAR TO TWO  YEARS.  BUT I COULD NOT AFFORD MY INS AND MY CHILDRENS SO THEY CAME FIRST.  IT IS SAD THAT PEOPLE ARE SUFFERING OUT THERE AND WE HAVE SUCH GREAT TECHNOLOGY BUT WE ARE NOT ABLE TO USE IT.  I HOPE EVERYTHING WORKS OUT AND IT IS NOT FAIR AT YOUR AGE YOU HAVE TO HAVE A LIVING WILL WRITTEN UP.  I AM SO SORRY.  IF YOU NEED TO TALK JUST LET ME KNOW.

I know where you are at as I am one of the unisured too here as there are many like us... When I found the lump in my right breast I know this is ovarian cancer forum but I have symptoms consitence with late stage Ovarian cancer along with breast cancer .
My surgery is scheduled for July 29th 8 days away. They won't know for sure about the cancer in the ovaries until they get pathologly reports back an obgy/onc will do a larascopic histerectomy after the breast surgon on the same day. I applied for and got enrolled in our states early detection program for breast cancer. It is called womens health sources in our state. Then since I was enrolled and recived my id card on the same day recieved the dx of ER receptive breast cancer and needed treatment I was enrolled in the title 19 medicade program in my state so that I get the treatment I need. I guess diffrent states have diffrent programs that help with womend health issues.. Our state has no early ovarian cancer dection program but I would for onelike to see one started esp helpful for those like me with a strong genitic dispostion to breast/ovaian cancer....Mom had precancerous cycst and fibriod/pylops filed uterus removed at the age of 40 . Her 2 sisters my aunts have both had breast cancer and one later developed colon cancer which my maternal grandmother had. Anyway if I count my blessing i guess the fact that I now get the needed treatment. sometime we have to look at the glass as half full and makes us feel better i can not allow myself to look at the galss as ever being empty or even half full...Today when we meet with the breast sugon for presurgery stuff I am taking my five wishes medical living will to be put into my file.  Each dr will get a copy for his /her file ... I just want to cover all the bases as that is important to me.... take care

if financial aid comes through friday if not do not know.  will not know about aid till monday.  do not have ins so makes things more complicated

Glad you are getting a bit of relief.  Yes, that would be hard with a little one underfoot.  When is your surgery?

did get something for pain morhine.  have not been at a four for a very long time.   found out it looks like it probably has been twisting and untwisting the ovary and moving around the pelvic cavity.  on bed rest and no heavy lifting which i will do my best with a two year old.  have to put him in a big boy bed now we will see how that goes.  thanks for the advice.  i hated that i am going to have to pay someone over two thousand dollars just for morphine and vicadin.  oh well it is almost over cross my fingers.

Do head to the ER.  If it hasn't twisted or burst you will at least get something to help your pain and a little peace of mind.
