sixteen w. ovarian cancer? or ovarian cysts

hello, im sixteen years old. ive been constipated and have a lumpy mass on my left side. i went to the doctor and he said that the lumpy mass was because of constipation, and it keeps coming and going. but i was feeling down lower on my left side and i felt a small lump at which i think it was by my ovary. i honestly dont know, but i am very scared cuz i dont wanna die. also ive been expierencing back pain, and consipation which were symptoms of ovarian cancer. or it could be a cyst? my aunt had cysts and they burst when she was around my age. ovarian/breast cancer doesnt run in my family, but my grandmas brother passed away from colon cancer.

Gracious.. don't make the "leap" to Ovarian Cancer. It is really an uncommon disease in young women such as yourself. Your back pain is very likely  caused by  your constipation issues.

I agree with nyc lady.. A gynecologist I'm sure will set your mind at ease. Sometimes it's not a great idea to go on the internet too much about your symptoms.. We all have a tendency to imagine we have everything that we read about. Speak to your mom about a Gyn. appt..

Ovarian cysts are very common a the time of ovulation....why don't  you talk to your mom about going to see a GYN.

Chances are on your side that you do not have Ovarian Cancer.
