I have a solid complex lesion on both ovaries and am wondering the best time to have a trans vaginal ultrasound done? Is it better to do right after your period or is it ok to do it any time?

I was told best time is right after your period (days 7 -10), since this is the least likely time to have a normal follicular cyst (cyst of ovaulation).
