stomach

My best friend has been battling ovarian cancer for over 3 years. She is on her second round of chem. Lately she has the feeling that her stomach is full. This seems to be strongest right after chemo and ther feeling goes away after about 1 1/12 weeks. Is this a sign that the stomach is filling with fluid and that she is getting worst? Her doctors says there is nothing there

thanks!

Thanks for your comments. I don't know who to ask for info and I want to be the best support to her that I can. I don't know how much she wants to know.  My family has been hit by other cancers in the past two years. This is a wonderful site for support and questions. My thoughts and prayers will be with all here.
thanks again!

I am on my second round and experience a full bloating feeling most of the time.  The Cat Scan is showing tumor shrinkage, so I do think it has to do with the chemo.  Tell you friend to hold in there.
Best Wishes

I also  on my second round, but I feel the full feeling the week before chemo, then it goes down after chemo. My doctor said I didn't have ascites either. They did an ultrasound to check me. I have a full feeling that is different after chemo, but it is a  feeling like i ate too much.
