surgery and swelling

hi mum had full hysterectomy and some bowel removed (surgery) 3 days ago all is well recovering nicely.  i just wanted some advice please: her tummy has swollen a bit is this normal?? has anyone else experienced this?? hope everyone is doing well x

Swelling is normal-aka swelly belly.

Swelling is very normal.  It can take up to 4-6 weeks for the swelling to go completely down.  Glad to hear that your mum is doing well.  Kasie
