uneveness of stomach after a laparotomy

I had surgery 6 weeks to have a very large complex cyst removed along with ovaries and appendix...because the cyst was soooo big.  I had a hysterectomy 3 years ago, so I had a horizontal scar at my bibkini line. Well, this time around its a long vertical cut that runs through the original incision, up and around my belly button.  My biggest issue, besides having a huge scar, is that it looks like I was stitched unevenly.  My original scar is off by like a inch, and any of the "fat" lines that run along the bottom of the abdomen are all uneven.  Does this just work itself out after time?  Maybe when I get to work out again.  I'm a bit OCD and this uneveness could really drive me crazy.

I have the same issue.......and it does make me crazy because it makes all my clothes fit funny.....very frustrating.  I think it must have been a resident or intern learning on me......I guess they have to  learn on somebody.....but, the incision has left me looking like my lower abdomen is smiling!   Aaaaaagggghhhhhhh!
Still, I am six years out from surgery for ovarian cancer.......if a smile on my abdomen is my biggest problem.........I'm not going to complain!
Peace.
