Complex Cyst

I am 37 years old and recently diagnosed with 2 fibroids in my uterus and one 3.0 cm complex cyst on my r ovary.  In reading the boards here, every one of you is having PAIN relating to this cyst.  I have very little pain other than what is normal with a period. Is that a sign of CA... (no pain)? My bleeding has been heavy and clotty up to this last one which was only 3 days long and light (could be my nerves)?  I have had two opinions, both say watch and wait.  I'm the type of person that will worry feverishly for the next two months, for those of you that are going through this, what are you doing to keep yourself sane and stop thinking about it 24/7?  I'm losing weight too... not eating right ... not hungry.  Any suggestions?

Hi
I have also been diagnosed with what is reffered to as 'complex' ovarian cyst- two of them - one on each ovary.  I am 25....and hardly have any pain - except during my period.  Sometimes I feel movement in my lower abdomen and wonder if these are symptoms also...  The Dr. siad I have to do a repeat ultrasound in about 3-4 months.  Any comments on 'complex' cysts would be appreciated.

Are they prescribing BCP's for you to try?  I see such conflicting information on the net about the new low dose BCP's and their affect on cysts.  Are you in a watch and wait pattern then?  Are you getting other opinions?

Well the Dr. informed me to monitor it - if any pain develops.  Not on any medication at present - suppose after the next US and its results he will decide what to do.  Forgot to mention - my cysts - are 5x3cm and 4x2cm.  So it is a sit and wait situation.

Interesting!

My cyst is 3.0 and appears to be hemorragic.  Were both of yours classified that way as well?

Additionally, the movement you mention.... have you ever had a c-section?  I swear once I had mine, I get bubbles in my intestines that I can feel sometimes and when I push on it it goes away...  such fun being female isn't it?
