I think surgery shocks your body and screws with your hormones. Take is easy and make sure you're eating healthy and balanced meals. Some herbal anti-anxiety pills actually work really well. I've been taking Wellpath Zen and can't believe how well it works.
Hi, I had surgery last week to remove endometriosis cyst and was fine and happy for a week. Last night, major anxiety that led to a panic attack, went to the hospital, they got me some pills, went home hoping to finally sleep but nothing, back in the hospital where they got me more stuff and some pills to take for a couple of weeks just to relax. It was actually my boyfriend who asked me if this could be elated to the hormones/ my ovaries. Decided to look it up and here I am!
Obviously sad to hear that other people have it but happy to know we’re not alone!
Hello,
I also had surgery, was under extreme stress and had major anxiety, but was so caught up in school that I didnt have time to notice it. After the semester ended, I went to a doctor and she had me check my thyroid. I was diagnosed with hyperthyroidism whose symptoms are palpitations, tachycardia (rapid heart rate) and anxiety. I would suggest getting your thyroid checked.
The thing that helped me the most was energy healing (holistic form of healing), working with the chi and releasing the toxics from the surgery. It was living hell for about 8 months after surgery because I was always nervous and anxious and a completely different person until I did the energy healing.
Good luck
I also have anxiety/panic attacks. Ask your doc for xanax, that helps stop my attacks. I am also on cymbalta daily. I also have an ovarian cyst that will be removed within the next 8 weeks.
