Are these symptoms of a cyst?

For the past few months I have had an uncomfortable pulling sensation in my lower abdomen and an occassional stabbing/sharp pain.  These come on suddenly and randomly.  The pulling feeling gets worse if I get up or move around.  Could these be possible symptoms of a cyst?

I meant to respond way back in the day to this. My sonogram came back all clear.  Praise the Lord for that! I did not have the symptoms for a few months, but I am now experiencing them again, so I am keeping a journal of the symptoms and hopefully my doc will help me figure this out.

It could be a cyst or it could be scar tissue if you have had previous abdominal surgery.  Please let us know what the doctor says tomorrow.  Good luck!

It absolutely could be the sign of a cyst!! That is the exact feeling I had when I was diagnosed with my first cyst (which was 2.8 cm) about 2 and a half years ago. Now I get cysts so often I rarely notice the pain. I would definitely call you gyn and have it checked out!! Hope this helps!
