Can Ovarian Cysts cause a false NEGATIVE on a home pregnancy test?

I've found plenty of studies and information stating that ovarian cysts can cause false positives but I can't find too much on whether they could potentially cause a false negative. If they can, in fact, cause false negatives, would I be right in assuming it is much more rare than causing a false positive? Thanks in advance!

Sorry, haven't heard that.  If you are having issues get them checked out as a pregnancy test can have a false negative if you have an ectopic pregnancy.  Take care.
