I have fibroids and was told I may never be able to have children. I have a 3 and a half month daughter so it is possible. I wouldnt worry too much. My niece has PCOS and she too was told she will never have children and she has a 2yr old girl.

I would suggest you try not to stress too much, as this can have a major effect on conceiving.

Just trust in the natural process of the situation and I'm sure you will have positive results.

Good Luck Sweety.

Besides learning at the ER that you had multiple ovarian cysts, have you been seen by a doctor to assess your ovaries?  For example, have you been diagnosed with PCOS or anything?  I'd start with an ob-gyn and see if you still have ovarian cysts.

If they were all on one side, even if that side works ineffectively, it might not affect the other side from ovulating normally, unless all those cysts are goofing around with your hormones.

You need an ob-gyn to tell you what is going on.  For all you know, the ovarian cysts on the left side are all gone.

hi i had a cyst on my left ovary and i am seeing a gyno and they dont cause infertility, unless they severly damage your ovary. but the docs would have told you that when you went to the er. they are very common and many women dont even know the have them, like yourself until they burst or get large and cause pain. i found out i had one because i had pain on one side and had shooting pain during sex and when i went to the toilet so i got it checked out and turned out it was a 7cm cyst. it went away on its own thank god.

if you are trying to get pregnant now dont have sex every day. it lowers sperm count and will reduce the chance of pregnancy. you need to have sex every 2nd day or so and work out when your ovulating so you can have sex in the days before and during ovulation. so lay off the trying just a little bit and try havin sex every 2nd or 3rd day instead. that may help. there are plenty of other reasons as to why you may not have gotten pregnant yet.. if you are trying hard and stressing about it that can stop it from happening. also getting pregnant can take time. i have been trying for 9 months now and nothin yet. a friend of mine who is completely healthy so is her partner, took 2 years to get pregnant with her 1st baby then took 14 months to get pregnant with her 2nd. so dont stress yet. it can take time. good luck! xoxo
