Laporoscopic surgery - is vaginal bleeding normal after?

I'm having laporoscopic surgery next week, Mar 26,  to remove a cyst, the ovary and a fibroid on my uterus.  I've read all the posts and compiled all the helpful advice that the members have posted regarding preparing for the post-surgery.  Just this week I saw a post where one woman mentioned vaginal bleeding after the surgery.  I hadn't read that before - is that normal to expect?  I'm post-menapausal and haven't needed pads for over 10 years - so will need to purchase some if I'm going to need them.  Can someone pls advise.

Thanks

Just be prepared. I'm post menopausal, had a 10 cm cyst, my ovary and tube removed. All I had was a tiny bit of spotting. Had pantiliners available.

I was post menopausal and had my first "period" in years after my own surgery.  Yes, buy some super absorbent pads...NO WINGS...it does not hurt to have them on hand.  I do not have an explanation why it happens, but it does.
