Sometimes even the smallest cyst can cause pain.  I agree, you should seek a second opinion.  I know that normally they do not remove cyst until they reach 5cm OR they cause a great deal of pain.  I would push for surgery if you think that is what is needed.  Nobody knows you body better than you.  If you think something is wrong, it probably is!!

I think you need to see another doctor. You should not be left to that kind of pain without a solution for at least relief from the pain. If you cannot walk, go to the bathroom etc, how much worse does it need to get? I vote second opinion.

what i would do is get a second opinion if you are not happy with the first. i know the pain also, i have the same issues. if the pain gets too bad go to the e.r maybe they can send you to a good gyn that may have better suggestions for you.

I understand the pain - that is how bad it was for me - that is when I was diagnosed with PCOS.  They don't jump right on the surgery unless the cysts continue to grow and not burst - if they continue to take care of themselves, my dr said no surgery.
If the pain and discomfort continues for an extended amount of time - I would request a visit to discuss them again.  I used to have ultrasounds every other month to track the cysts and their growth...
