need help....

Sorry if i'm not putting this on the right section. i'm new here. i'm 24 years old lady from Bangladesh and suffering from right ovarian cyst which is approximately 5.8 cm × 5.3 cm. I've one child who is 8 years old. My CA 125 level is gradually increasing. On 7th January it was 28.64 U/ml. On 6th February it was 125 U/ml. I took Injection Depo provera on January according to my gynaecologist advise. Is it safe to take another Depo Provera injection Or is there any other management for this condition. Any Help would be greatly appreciated.

Hello,
Many benign conditions in women of childbearing age can cause the CA-125 level to be elevated, so CA-125 is not a specific test, especially in younger women for ovarian cancer. But since it is steadily rising and you have ovarian cyst also, it needs further evaluation. Get repeat ultrasounds done to check the size of ovarian cyst. If the CA 125 levels increase or the cyst grows or changes in appearance, then surgery to remove the cyst may be recommended.

It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.
