Pain

Last Friday (Aug. 5), I was diagnosed with a 6.22 cm septated cyst on my right ovary. Dr. put me on hormone medication for 14 days to see if it would shrink it. I go back Aug. 25 for another ultrasound to see if if it has responded. If there is no change, Dr. said I would have to have surgery.

I was in a lot a pain last night. After a pain pill and an ambien I finally feel asleep around 3:30 this morning. I was wondering if anyone has any suggestions of what I can do to relieve the pain.

I have finished the meds. I started spotting on Thursday. I have had a lot of pain in my right ovary. Today has been much better, but I'm still spotting. I don't know if it is my period or the cyst has responded to the meds and is going away.

I am EXHAUSTED!!!! I have started having pains in my legs, every once in a while I have pain in my chest area just above my right breast, all the way over to the edge of my arm pit. I am REALLY starting to think that I'm falling apart at 41 yrs. old. or worse yet, I have something VERY VERY wrong going on inside my body!!! PLEASE pray for me and for healing!!!

P.S. Thanks for being such a GREAT support team. I have "met" some really inspriational women here!!

Heat, baths, and painkillers.  But if it gets really severe, see if the doctor will see you sooner than 14 days.
