many thanks :-)

This is my TVR scan 3weeks ago

uterus : Anteverted normal size and  heterogenous appearances it measures  72x42x53  mm. Multiple small fibroids identified. Largest appears posterior sub mucosal of 13x9x7mm . This impinges the upper fundal posterior endometrial layer.
Endometrium :Normal  AP thickness  = 4.8  mm,  and regular echotexture .  Multiple Nabothian cysts identified.
Ovaries :The Lt is of normal size and contains two small anechoic cystic areas /follicles of 7x5mm and 8x5mm. The Rt ovary appears expanded by a multiseptated vascular cyst thickest septum =5mm. ?? Ca 125 status
RT OVARY = 127x67x112 mm.
LT OVARY = 20x16x16 mm.
Adnexa:  Within the Lt adnexa an anechoic tubular cystic area of 55x21x25mm identified. Impression is most suggestive of hydrosalpinx. No obvious free fluid identified

Ultrasound Findings .
1/ Multiseptated Rt ovarian cyst still evident. On todays scan  septae appear vascular
2/Impression of Lt Hydrosalpinx.
3/ Sub mucosal fibroid
4/Lt ovary contains Anechoic cysts/follicles

This is my MRI 4 weeks ago

The uterus is anteverted and anteflexed with multiple cervical nabothian cysts and a few subtle low signal areas within the myometrium which may represent the fibroids noted on the previous ultrasounds. Endometrial thickness is about 2 mm.

There is a multiseptated cystic mass in the right adnexa, the largest cystic component measures 5.8 x 5.5 cm which extends into the right iliac fossa. Another 4 x 3 cm locule is noted in the inferior aspect. On balance, there is suggestion that there might be an element of hydrosalpinx associated with this multiseptated cystic mass in the right adnexa. There are no solid components and the thickest septae are about 1.5 mm. Similarly, but much smaller simple looking cyst is seen in the left adnexa which once again appears (at least on the axial sequences) to be associated with hydrosalpinx. No solid components seen. Minimal free fluid is noted within the pelvis which may be related to the cyclical change. Associated pelvic sidewall or paraaortic lymphadenopathy seen.

Incidental note is made of a subtle circumferential disc protrusion at L5-S1 impinging on the left exiting nerve root.

I have 23 cysts on my ovaries, they are relatively small only 5mm. But I constantly have really bad pain, some days I don't want to get up, it hurts so much. Is there anything I can do to help the pain?

Hi again. Well your ultrasound clearly states "Multiseptated Rt ovarian cyst still evident". How can the gynocologist say you don't have an ovarian cyst when clearly you do? Strange. Ovarian cysts can also affect bowel and bladder.

Some or all of the following symptoms may be present with an ovarian cyst:

Dull aching, or severe, sudden, and sharp pain or discomfort in the lower abdomen (one or both sides), pelvis, vagina, lower back, or thighs; pain may be constant or intermittent—this is the most common symptom

Fullness, heaviness, pressure, swelling, or bloating in the abdomen

Breast tenderness

Pain during or shortly after beginning or end of menstrual period

Irregular periods, or abnormal uterine bleeding or spotting

Change in frequency or ease of urination (such as inability to fully empty the bladder), or difficulty with bowel movements due to pressure on adjacent pelvic anatomy

Weight gain

Nausea or vomiting

Fatigue

Infertility

Increased level of hair growth

Increased facial hair or body hair

Headaches

Strange pains in ribs, which feel muscular

Bloating

Strange nodules that feel like bruises under the layer of skin

This is what i would make of your results...

* Right ovary - 5.8 x 5.5 cm multiseptated vascular ovarian cyst.  A type of complex ovarian cyst that contains semi-solid and liquid being fed by the the vascular system.

* Left ovary -  two small anechoic cystic/follicles of 7 x 5mm and 8 x 5mm

* Possible hydrosalpinx - blocked and fluid filled fallopian tube/s.

* Nabothian cysts - mucus filled cysts on the surface of the cervix.

* Multiple uterine fibroids. One submucosal fibroid measuring over 1cm (13mm x 9mm x 7mm). Submucosal fibroids are the least common of uterine fibroids. Submucosal fibroids grow beneath the uterine cavity lining.

Symptoms depend on the location of the fibroid and its size. Symptoms include abnormal gynecologic haemorrhage, heavy or painful periods, abdominal discomfort or bloating, pelvic pain, back ache, difficulty having a bowel movement or painful bowel movements, urinary frequency or retention, and in some cases, infertility.  During pregnancy they may be the cause of miscarriage, bleeding, premature labor, or interference with the position of the fetus.

*  A disc protrusion is also called bulging disc, ruptured disk, slipped disc, or herniated disc. The L5 S1 disc is the most fragile and susceptible to protrusion since it gets more load than the other lumbar discs. A disc protrusion is one of the most common causes of back pain.
