Two complex ovarian cysts. Put on BC, wait and see. Should I push to have them removed?

I am 27, and have been having abdominal pain, nausea, tiredness, delayed, heavy periods, etc. In January was the worst. I had horrible pelvic pain and felt swollen. Went to a gyno for my yearly, mentioned these symptoms and she thought nothing of them. She even sent me to a gastro and I had a colonoscopy because I told her I had pain with sex and a history of IBS, and she said the bowel is "right there" so I should go see a gastro doctor.

Pain persisted, started to have pain when I urinated, on my right side. I went to my regular doctor thining it was a UTI, he ordered a pelvic (over skin) and abd. ultrasound. They said they found a 7cm fluid filled cyst. I went to another gyno to invesitgate further. He did a transvaginal ultrasound and discovered that my right ovary has two complex cysts. I also have multiple smaller cysts on my right ovary. One (on the right) is 2.65cm or so and the other on the right is 1.96cm or so. One had grainy texture on the screen, the other had a line indicating a wall inside. He called them complex. He told me I had an inverted uterus (it's pointing toward my back, vs. front) and thick endometrium. He put me on BC and scheduled me for another ultrasound in one month.

He said he was pretty sure they were benign, then he corrected himself and said "they ARE benign". Well, of course I am worried. Should I go along with his plan of the Birth control pills and go back in a month and "wait and see", or should I go see a gynecology oncologist to have them looked into further, possibly removed?
If there is any other information I am missing and is needed, please let me know and I will gladly provide any information needed.

Jessrae will tell u prob more then I can as she has helped me lots!
Fingers crossed for benign but they can only be 100% once they have been removed & sent to pathology. My cyst was huge and had echoes still waiting for results but I can tell u this although I feel in pain etc the feelings that I had from the cyst have gone almost completely!
The birth control is a good option! Try that it will be gradual not an over night fix but it's well worth trying it as an immediate alternative to surgery.
Take care

Hmm, well with the cysts, the birth control could help shrink them and make them go away, and hopefully have you avoid surgery to remove them. They cant 100% rule out malignancy until it gets to a point of having to have surgery to remove and a biopsy of the cyst(s) is done. I would try the birth control, and see what happens, hopefully, the birth control helps, and in a month you see a difference. however, dont be surprised if you dont see a huge change. I have simply functioning cysts that keep coming back on my remaining(left) ovary. For me, Ive had to be on birth control 3 months at a time to help shrink and keep the cyst away. Good luck :)

Best wishes to all.
