Why am I so tired weeks after laproscopy?
Hi everyone,
I had a dermoid cyst removed about 3 1/2 weeks ago. The surgery went perfect, I kept my ovary and recovered quickly. But for the past week, I have felt EXTREMELY tired. I sleep 8 hours each night but this week, around 3-4pm I get insanely tired and have to sleep. Usually this is accompanied by a headache. Could it be that hormones are rebalancing now that the cyst is gone? What could be causing this problem?

You are still fairly early post-op so it could partly be due to the surgery. But, yes, hormones could also be to blame. Hopefully, everything will settle soon!
