possible ovarian cyst???

Hi
I found forum and basically just want others opinions on what this might be. Bad symptoms started over a year ago y periods because irregular and now have completely stooped I because constantly tired which is now an unbearable symptoms lost half a stone in a week and started to get bad 'twisting' sharp lower abdomen pains along with feeling full very quickly. I put up with this for 6 months to see if it went away and eventually went to see y doctor who told e very bluntly to stop worrying about not having periods and that I should be grateful not to have the as they are a pain- her exact words I haste to add along with 'tapping her head' telling e it was all in y head. Obviously this made me feel about this small and stupid so I again put up with these symptoms feeling ore ill and now started to get persistent bloating. A few weeks ago y stomach swelled up making e look pregnant and at one point i had a horrible pain with an occurrence of vaginal bleeding for about an hour. my stomach has remained distended for the past month now and is getting bigger and ore painful the right side staying distended even when I breath in. I've put on half a stone in 2 weeks but only on my stomach the rest of me tiny looking like my usual weight of 7st 11 and I now feel constantly sick and very weak and exhausted. Does this sound like an ovarian cyst or something else? I' scared to go to the doctor again as I don't want the to must turn me away like last time due to my age possibly? I really cant put up with this any more due to it affecting my life and college work. Thanks

Hello, I'm sorry to hear that you are not feeling well also that your doctor thinks that you should not worry. DON'T LISTEN go and see a different doctor a gyn  would be best as they specialize in female issues and will listen. We women know our bodies and can definetly tell when somethingis not right so please find a doc that will listen to you and figure out what is wrong. Your symptoms are not normal for a healthy body and need to be checked out. I will include you in my prayers Best of luck... :)
