i read on a medical web page not long after finding out that i myself have a hemmhoragic cyst on my left ovary that fertility drugs can help to cause ovarian cysts because most ovarian cysts are caused by the eggs not making it all the way out of the ovary or something of that sort and they just kind of pile up inside of the ovary and form a cyst.  however, i did read that most ovarian cysts go away sometime during ovulation.  i don't know exactly how accurate all of this information is (my cyst hasn't went away yet and i have ovulated atleast 2-3 times and i am not on any fertility medicine and still developed the cyst).  i hope this info helps.  good luck with everything.

Over 95% of all cysts are benign so it is more than likely not cancerous.  There is a lot of information on types of cysts on the health pages (top right).  An endometrial cyst is one that is created by endometrial tissue migrating from your uterus to your ovary and then starts bleeding.  You should discuss with your doctor whether these cysts or the endometriosis might be affecting your ability to conceive.  Good luck.
