is it ovarian cancer?

Hello, I am 31 years old, mother of two. I have recently been told by OBGYN, that they found a large  mass on my right ovary and will need a Hysterectomy, with the removal of ovary and falipen tubes, they also ordered a CA-125 test to be done. about 7 mths ago, I had a papsmear done, and she found a lump the size of an orange in the same place, she didnt make a big deal out of it, so I thought it was fine, then about two months later, I had an ultrasound done, again they didnt make a big deal out the cyst or whatever they found. I was going to the Dr. because, for the past year, every time I had a period, I would hurt so bad in my LEFT side. I was losing weight, (lost about 15lbs) couldnt eat ( was never that hungry) and had days of being bloated(would last about a week or so, then go away). Then I started to get what feels like acid reflux, burping, indegestion, heartburn certain foods now make me feel sick. I was diagnosed over the summer with IBS (irratable bowel syndrum). Is this part of getting older or is something going on? Im worried, my kids are 9 and 11, should I be worried, or is it just a part of aging? Thanks

Debtrap....I have not done that test yet, and I am waiting for the Dr. to call, so I can ask more questions! I went in Friday, to have measurements done for a simple procedure, the next thing I know the Dr. is telling me they are going to have to do a hystorectomy, they found a 10cm mass on my right ovary......I think I was in some kind of shock, because I really dont remember  alot of it! Of course all this happened on a Friday, and left me wondering all week-end, the Dr. is on call today, so not sure what time he will call. I should have been paying attention the first time, but I think it was a bit much to handle, and of course no one was with me! I let you know what all I find out, right now all I know is I am scheduled for a laparoscopic assisted vaginal hysterectomy with salpingo-oophorectomy and whatever deemed necessary (thats what it says on my papers) and a whole bunch of blood work, including CA-125.

Two questions what was the value of your ca125 and why do they want to take all your reproductive organs out?
