My pain is getting worse too... Laying down, sitting or Standing doesn't help after awhile of doing them, which can be from 5 minutes & up.... Left Ovary has a 3.5cm cyst but all my constant & sheer pain is on my Right side. Right now, My right rib feels like its being crushed....Its not effecting my breathing, BUT the Pain is Hard, Deep & very painful 24/7...

Thanks for that.  I've been worrying why the pain is in my lower back and even in my right buttock.  It's like a dull period cramp.  They aren't in a hurry to operate.  Said will probably be a couple of months.  Just want them out now.

Im worried because had breast cancer in 2009 and started Tamoxifen to stop the hormones being released.  When I started chemo my periods stopped and Tamoxifen has also contributed to this.  It came to light last year that I have an ovarian cyst on my right ovary which was 4cm a few month ago and is now 8cm.  The doctor classified it as a simple cyst and said that combined with the CA125 test showed nothing to worry about.  However I saw on the screen that it mentioned vascularity and septations and when I googled this it inferred there could be more worrying signs.  I'm waiting for an appointment to have both ovaries removed and have been told it will be approximately two month.  I'm worried sick.Is it normal to have dull aches in the area of the ovary and into the back and tops of legs.  I also feel tired?  Thanks

you are so welcome an I do pray everything works out well for you on the 20th. Just remember to pray and keep faith in GOD that whatever the doctor decides to do surgery wise are just anything gong on in your life that you will be bought out of it better than you are going in. one of the cyst that was in between my intestines the doctor actually said that it had dissolved on its on because he said if it didn't the surgery would have been a lot longer with possibly more complications. I was so thankful for that. that GOD kept me and still is. I pray you keep me updated on our status. STAY BLESSED AND  PRAY ALL GOES WELL :)))

My 3rd day being home was a disaster but GOD brought me thru it. I couldn't hold anything down. my back felt like I had been ran over by a truck. I didn't now if I was coming or going but i keep my faith though  anything cause without it and GOD KEEPING ME STRONG I would be lost. I haven't taken the pain pills they gave me to take today and I started taking muscle relaxers and I must say that they took a lot of pressure off my back so I been coping so much better. I don't give all the credit to the pills though cause I always say this to ppl. No matter what you take or do only GOD can take your burdens away because he puts no more on us then we can bare but thanks for the concern I know with GODS WILL I will bounce back. I can tell the difference now. as for the hot flashes time will tell lol. STAY BLESSED :)))

Glad to hear that you are well enough to be on here!  The pain will get better, mine got A LOT better on the 3rd day. I hope yours does too.  Just think, since they kept your right ovary, you won't have to deal with hot flashes!

Hi just to update you. I had surgery yesterday and they said I might get to go home tomorrow. Im really praying that I do. they saved my right ovary but I wish they had just went ahead and took it out. Im in so much pain right now but I am so thankful that GOD brought me thru surgery. I decided to sit up some instead of laying in that hospital bed all day. But I hope all is going well with you. Stay blessed

Yep, I recommend a 2nd opinion too!  I did that and was very happy with it. My ultrasounds (both pelvic and transvaginal) didn't show exactly what was happening inside either.  It showed a 6cm cyst with septations. When my gyn went in (laparoscopically) it was actually a simple fluid filled cyst that he was able to just drain.  What was actually causing my pain was scar tissue that had looped my bowel around my ovaries.  He cleaned up all my scar tissue and put this stuff called interceed on all the cut sites to prevent further scars from forming.  Be your own advocate and find another doc!!

oh yeah an ultrasound is ok and shows certain stuff but you may need to see will your doctor or could you get your doctor to do a laprascopic surgery where they actually take a scope and take pictures from the inside and it shows way better detail of whats causing you pain,

I understand what your going through .Im 28 and  Im having surgery Wednesday. when I first found out I had cyst they were the size of a golf ball now they are the size of oranges and I have three. one surrounds a part of my intestines. the other surrounds my ovaries. the other is connected to scar tissues and this all happened within a year. the best advice I can give is if the doctor your going to cant help you then find another one because that's what I had to do and im finally getting help. sometimes doctors don't really care the way they are suppose to. I hope you find a doc who will help you or at least I hope you get better. I will keep you in my prayers keep me updated and stay blessed and know your not alone. God can bring you through anything
