pain 2 weeks after ovarian cyst surgery

I just I had surgery on my left side to get my cyst removed. its been 2 weeks now I'm still having pain in my lower abdomen and on my left side. I feel like there is a major bruise there not where the incision was. and my back has been killing me. what could this be

You are still in the early stages of recovery. I continued to have mild twinges of pelvic pain or discomfort for many months after surgery but I had more extensive surgery. I would think your pain should be pretty much gone by 4 to 6 weeks post-op. The back pain may be from surgical positioning. Hope you feel better soon!
