Yeah, I know here, when I had my second surgery (laparotomy) I was kept for a few days, and there was a woman who was kept at least 24 hours because of edometriosis and had a drain tube in her stomach etc from dealing with the endo that was so aggressive. With having the endo surgery as well i imagine you shouldve been in a little longer at least over night i imagine.

Oh absolutely, its difficult when you dont have anyone to rely on to help you, i was that way after having my surgery and got discharged. I think it makes it a little more stressful.

Hope youre starting to feel a little better today!

Thanks Jess but i think he was negligent as my op was at 7pm and during the laparascopy he found surperficial endometriosis and had to laser remove these which made it complicated and due to this i think he should have kept me for the night,i live alone and really couldnt expect my boyfriend to take care of me as he had to go to work you know....

Generally a Laparascopy is a day surgery, from the time I got to the hospital, had the surgery, and spent my time in recovery I was there about 8-10 hours.

My stomach was tender, but I was moving a little better closer to the end of week one. But my incisions had closed and healed super easily and fast. By week 2-3 I was starting to return to light working out etc and was feeling over all a lot better.

Everyone heals differently, the follow up, this is with the gyno that did the surgery? If thats the case and youre not sure youre healing up to what you should be, just stop in to see your family doctor if you can, it doesnt hurt and they'll be able to help you understand more if the dr isnt giving yo enough info etc.
