I read some of gochoosey. I think  it is nerves , I just went back to work full time and not quite ready and or a phantom pain. Not natural to have all that rearranged, poked and proded!

thanks Sandy, the pain just started, I think too much activity this weekend, but I'll follow up. I have seen him 3 times about the knot. All adjusting

You know what I experienced?  Something similar to CRAMPS!  I had feelings of that emptiness and aching???  Like just before you get your period?  And it was (previously) the time I would have gotten my period!

Isn't that weird?  I think it's just our bodies, trying to regroup after all our bits are gone!
(at least all MY bits are gone)...

I agree, though, check in with the doctor... better to get the official word than to rely on someone elses experience.

It is sooooo good to have this forum to share these things!

love,

I know that I have had these and so has gochoosy if that helps, her doc told her it was nerves and I just assumed mine was since I was told that when I had the same thing after ankle surgery, again a few weeks afterwards when you think you should be all past that. Could be that, but I would check with your doctor JUST in case.... Hope you feel better.

Have you spoken to your surgeon about it? I had laparascopic surgery to remove an ovary and tube and it seems for a couple of weeks I would have "Phantom pain" .. such as when folks have a limb amputated and they swear they still feel it. But my pain was more of a niggly thing.. Not sharp.. Just enought to know it was there. And, I don't know if having only the cyst removed would cause the same thing.

Did you have your follow up with your Dr. yet??  I think I'd call the office and just ask. You know, I've always been one of those "hate to bother the Dr." types and I can't tell you how often I've heard them say to me"You should have called right away" or "Why didn't you call".. I don't think it's serious, but I'd place the call ..

Good luck and keep us posted
Sandy
