what could a hypodense structure mean?

I recently had a Pelvic/Abdominal CT scan done where they saw a Hypodense 2cm structure in the right ovary and said it may represent  a cyst. "hypodense structure" sounds scary...  I am 48 and have no idea what this could mean.  maybe someone has some information on this .  ( they also saw a Corpus luteum cyst on left ovary)
Thank you for your time

Most cysts, regardless of where they are, are harmless and don't need intervention except to be monitored to make sure they go away or don't get too big. Sometimes fluid can build up in the Fallopian tubes (hydrosalpinx) for various reasons (one being endometrial ablation).

Is your doctor planning to monitor it via ultrasound?

Thank you for answering .
Yes, I am scheduled for an TV ultrasound.   I had one a year prior with no problems and this act scan shows a cyst on each ovary and a lobular uterus ..
I only saw mention of the corpus luteum cyst on the one ovary. That's just a normal part of the menstrual cycle. What type of cyst is on the other ovary? Hopefully, it will take the typical course and resolve on its own. Please keep us posted.
I don’t know it is even a cyst.. the report said “2 cm hypodense structure in right ovary, POSSIBLY a cyst” that’s why I am nervous because I don’t know what that could be ..
I'm sorry. I was thinking the "hypodense structure" was in your tube... don't know how I misread that! Since ovarian cysts are so common, it's probably just a cyst that will likely go away especially since it's only 2cm. I hope this eases your mind a bit.
Yes it does! Thank you for all of your time :)  have a great weekend
