EMDR, eyesight & medications

At  the beginning of summer I got new glasses. For the first time I now have bifocals. Once I got used to them, my new glasses were great.
Since then, I have been dx'd with PTSD. The doctor changed my meds. I started EMDR therapy about a month ago.
Here is my question... for about the past 2 weeks, sometimes it feels like my eyes aren't focusing together, it's like a pulling sensation almost like I'm going cross-eyed.
What do you all think? Could it be from the change in meds, the EMDR (since it involves moving your eyes back and forth while watching an object) like maybe my eye muscles are getting tired, or a combination of the two? Has this happened to anyone else?
I had a therapy session yesterday and I noticed it afterwards while sitting in the parking lot. Today I still have a "pulling" sensation in my eyes like I am trying to get used to my glasses all over again. The mediation change came first, and I didn't notice the eye focusing problems until after I started EMDR. It just doesn't seem like going once a week, and moving my eyes back and forth for the short amount of time would cause this, so I am wondering if the medication change is affecting my eyes?
Any comments welcome.... Thanks

Yeah, I think maybe the eye issues probably didn't come from the EMDR, I don't know.
How do I feel about the emdr... well, I was only able to go to 3 actual sessions and my insurance ran out. I feel it was helping, and HAS helped, but I don't know how much of it was the therapy or the medications?
How long did the EMDR treatment last for you, I mean how many sessions? I have so many unresolved issues from the past that I thought "this is gonna take forever", but the main thing that was bothering me, I do think it helped with that, which is amazing. Especially since I started out skeptical.

I was wondering how you feel about the EMDR. I had that therapy years ago. I think it really helped me.  I didn't experience the eye issues you describe. I really don't think it has to do with the therapy.

I too suffer from PTSD, have bifocals & several medications, as I have multiples other ailments as well.  However, my EMDR experience was a little different as I also have glaucoma, so I couldn't always follow the object & the time that we did try it I did have problems with my eyes not being able to feel like they wanted to synchronize again.  So you may want to see if you can change to a different version, I was then tried on the audio & on the physical handheld tappers.  I didn't like the tappers & so we stayed with the audio version.  No worries, this therapy did work to some degree for me, but I've since moved onto a different therapist & we're dealing with areas that were opened up that I didn't feel comfortable dealing with my prior therapist because he was a male & the area that we broke open had to deal with was my rapes.

So granted not all therapist use just the visual. I'll lift you up  in prayers that you find a form that gives you the break through that you so deserve to have in your therapy.

Oh, I didn't know there was an eye forum. Also, a friend who is an RN says that sinuses can make your eyes feel funny like that. I dunno.
Anyway, I talked to my EMDR therapist and he said no one else he's treated has reported symptoms like that. So maybe it's just a combination of things. ?
Thanks for your reply margypops.
