Hello,  I am new here.

DX - Sjogren's, Atypical Grave's disease and either SLE or MS (jury still out)
bilateral white diffuse matter

I was so afraid of voicing my memory issues, still am.  But, can't get answers if you don't ask.  I have had the same memory issues - short short memory ridiculous.  If I stop mid sentence and start to talk again I have no idea what I was saying.  My fiancee is helpful, he tries to jump in and save me.  Once I am reminded, about half of the time I remember and go ahead, but the other half I can't.  If I think of a solution or have an idea I have to say it right then and there or it is lost (like I feel like it is disolving)

Most recently - I type, a lot, for work, my speed and spelling have always been great and now I pause and can't remember how to spell, when I read I skip a word or two and have to go back.  I take pilocarpine, cymbalta, amrix. On occasion prednisone and hydrocodone (rarely now).

Anyway, thanks for bringing this up and I hope you find your answers.

Psych meds can indeed cause memory loss, but so can many others that are not psych meds.  It sounds like your meds may have caused this, you might want to get them adjusted like margypops was helpful and told you to do.

My first thoughts are this is med realted so it would be a good idea to ask the Doctor prescribing them about the side effects indeed you can google to see if they are compatible with each other , it would also account for the memory loss it is well know many drugs do cause this ..check this out first see if the dose is too high and if you can change them or stop them ...
