Hi Arua,

Welcome to the Pain Management Forum. I am glad you found us and took the time to post. But of course I am sorry to hear about the abd pain that wakes you early in the mornings.

This could be from a multitude of things...the most common being a gastrointestinal problem. Does this happen every night? Does it depend at all on what you eat or when you eat? Breathing difficulties can occur when you have extreme GERD or similar gastric issues. However I also suggest that you consult your PCP.

A good medical evaluation will provide you with the correct answers. If you haven't already I encourage you to call your physician's nurse and explain your symptoms. She/he will probably ask additional questions and will be able to determine how soon you should be seen.

I wish you the best and want to inform you that we have another forum that may offer you additional information. Here's the link:

Please let us know what your PCP had to say. I will look forward to your updates.

Take Care,
~Tuck
