It took me 2 days to find the article you mentioned due to a "no such site" notice. It turns out that at the beginning of the link you gave, there was 1 extra letter (an "i" between the "j & f"). Once I dropped that letter, the site came up just fine!
Here is the your link:
www.amjiforensicmedicine.com/pt/re/ajfmp/fulltext.0000043-200512000-00001.htm;jsessionid=GwbFpjT7PICknSMK
When you drop the 'i" you get this: www.amjforensicmedicine.com
By the way thank you so much for this. All my tests (saliva) over the last 2 years have come up Negative for Morphine which I have been on for 7 years. My Dr. has a rep. for not liking to prescribe pain meds, but I am limited to who I can see by our Insurance Co.
Thanks again

Yes, your defifitly correct on that. As Morphine works better for me, it certianly might not work as well for others as they react differently. Thank's........
I think it all depends on the person. I am a person that morphine does not work well for at all. I get much better pain relief from drugs that one would usually consider to not be as strong as morphine. So many of these issues really vary based on the individual.
Hi roadrunner: My understanding is that this study was done for the purpous of drug testing and why in some cases the drug came up negative in tests. Also I think that Morphine is a much stronger drug than Oxycodone. It is my opinion that Morphine controls pain on a much better level.....Thank's for your input. It's appreciated.

thats very interesting, i wonder why. is that still under the opiate drug as testing purposes?also, most va patients get this med instead of some other med. that really are not as stong and does not make since to give morphine vs oxycodone. what do u think?
Your welcome. I too have kept a copy of the two bits of research I did. You never know when you might need something like this with members having such a hard time. I am finding out how unreliable they can be. Hugs back to you.
Thank you Mollyrae for taking the time to locate this information and sharing it with us. I have kept a reference copy and appreciate the knowledge. Big (((((HUGS))))) Tuck
huh... you would think that the Dr. or nurse practitioners would know this...
