Oh, and I have issues with C3 through C5 on my neck as well.   Started about 10 years ago at age 36.   Was diagnosed with spondolytis (arthritis).   I've had injections, nerve burns, and the gambit of meds myself.   The cortisone injections and nerve burns help.

Hi.  I thought I was reading something I posted but didn't remember posting...Ha!    I was told these symptoms add up to fibromayalga (sp?).   The medications you are taking can also be creating some of these symptoms as side effects.  I have good days and bad.  Ambien helps me sleep better.  Combined with the xanax I don't wake up with the panic/anxiety attacks.   Sleeping seems to be my enemy.  When I don't sleep well, I hurt more.   Take Care!

"you appear to be having age related spondylytic changes"  Age related I am only 36.

My situation: Currently

Weakness: lack of physical or muscle strength. I feel that it takes extra effort to move my arms, legs, or other muscles. Fatigue tiredness or exhaustion or a need to rest because of lack of energy or strength. My descriptions of leg pain includes a heavy feeling or weakness that conflicts with my movement. I feel like I need to drag my leg, to get it started. My Legs move much slower than they used to, especially when climbing stairs, getting up after even after minimal time sitting or walking short distances, ie car to building, driving short distances or even attempting to walk around my house. I continuously have to change positions while sleeping or sitting because of pain and stiffness.

Major Symptoms and bothersome situation

Anxiety
Depression
Fatigue
Headaches
Morning back/shoulder stiffness
Pain through the buttocks and down one leg to below the knee/foot- now moving down on too both legs
Redness, warmth, or swelling of the back
Shoulder, neck, or hip pain
Sleep disturbance -up several times a night
Numbness or tingling that has no obvious cause (like a hand or foot "falling asleep")
Pain in my forearms, wrist and fingers
Urinating more often and minimal incontinence
Numbness or tingling is in my legs and gets worse when you walk

Current Meds-

Celexa 40 mg
Depakote 125 mg                    For Mental
Xanax prn 0.5 mg

Voltaren prn 75 mg
Neurontin 100 mg                    For Pain
Loiresal prn 20 mg
Norco prn 5-325 tab 1or 2 every six hours

Xanax bedtime 2mg                  Just to try to sleep provides at least 4 hours-

My physical Limitations-

(all of these things cause alot of pain-discomfort and very fatigue.)

Sitting
Standing
Walking
Lifting
Carrying
Pushing / Pulling

(all of these things are next to impossible- especially if I have to do any of the things prior before)

Climbing stairs
Climbing ladders
Crouching
Crawling

Repetitive activity
Sustained postures
Gripping

Fine dexterity

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hi!
In simple language you appear to be having age related spondylytic changes in the vertebrae of your spinal column. This can appear earlier for some. This can cause nerve compression which can cause symptoms ranging from tingling numbness to excruciating pain not responding to medication. You may be treated with medication, physiotherapy, traction, cervico-thoracic corsets, lumbar corsets etc. Please discuss with your treating doctor. Take care!
