Boils

What causes boils? Is is something you eat or not eat, or could it be the meditcation I'm taking?

I was getting them, and I went to a specialist who told me that people who get them over and over usually are never getting rid of the bacteria.  I had to take 3 weeks of antibiotics, and use muroprocin ointment in my nose 2 times a day.  It worked.  he said that the staph hides in your nose.

My sister has had them all her life.  So painful!!!  Not sure why some people get them more.  I had four at the end of the summer when I was very run down.  Sorry no answers but lots of sympathy!!
