The pain Im having is like squeezing the skin so tightly and after awhile you started to feel the pain. It is mostly felt when sitting, the pain is concentrated on the portion of the butt that is in contact with the chair. I'll also consider consulting a dermatologist for this might be epidermis issue.
I'm glad you've found something that helps the pain. I had injured my back (lumbar herniations) a couple of times and leg pain from sciatica occurs because the nerve was being pushed with the bulging of the discs. The nerves in your legs start in your back. If you have pain in your leg in a certain spot it correlates to the spot in your low back that is herniated. Because I was denied a big surgery and the nerve wasn't decompressed in a timely fashion my nerve pain is now permanent. I'm sure that repetitive herniations to the same discs didn't help either. Nerves grow back at a very slow rate. It can be pretty painful. For the most part I describe it as having chemical paint stripper eating away at your skin. Not sure if you've ever been burned by it but it hurts! Or fire on your skin.
By the way, how did you get your nerve pinched? Which nerve? Hope you won't mind.
Many thanks...
Thanks Ellen038, Massaging my groin & perineum with menthol/camphor oinment during butt pain seems to do the trick but I will consider seeing nerve/spine doctor. I'll keep you posted.
It sounds like you may have a pinched nerve. Nerve pain is a burning pain. I would see a spine specialist or an ortho that specializes in back pain. You can try heat in the meantime. Sitting usually will aggravate things and it tends to hurt worse at night. PT may be helpful too! I have this permanently now. I have had several failed surgeries and have permanent nerve damage. I hope you get to feeling better.
