Chest pain... OUCH :(

Hey, so I'm a girl who's 13. When I was younger I had Asthma so it may be that or something different :S

Lately I have been feeling like I will vomit (Nausea) and had abdominal pains (some due to menstration). But now I am getting a bad chest pain, it was near my collar bone the other day but now has moved to my sternum. I am on nurofen (ibuprofen) which sometimes works. I am also using my inhalor (two puffs of ventolin) which is helping.

I am also getting headaches and hiccups frequently - may be irrelevent...

Because of the nausea i have tried forcing myself to vomit (without drug use), but it doesn't work it just gives me the satisfaction of tating te vomity tase -_-'

Any ideas? Help if you can :)

P.S. I was going to put this in the Asthma Community, but seeing as it may be anything I decided to put it here.

Hello Again,

I have reviewed your posts over the past few months and you seem to have a lot going on for such a young person, just 13 years old.

I'm wondering if your "chest pain" may be related to some stress or stomach issues such as GERD.  I suggest that you discuss this with your parent(s). Do you see your physician often? Have you had a complete physical of late? I suggest both with the approval of your parents.

Are you active in school extracurricular activities? If not that may help you focus on the more fun parts of life and reduce your physical symptoms.

Good luck to you dear,
Tuck

Well, the nausea and abdominal pains have been occouring for a while - a few weeks maybe - and the cst pains have just been recent. I have started to get the chest pains on saturday or sunday (22nd or 23rd).

The hiccups have just started this week, and the headaches as long as the abdominal pains. I'm startingto get active agaain.

hmmmmmm are you a very active person?  it is possible that it is muscular and some of the other symptoms are like you said and not related but when you put them all together you think it is something more. I had chest pain recently and It freaked me out until I remembered that I had been using crutches and the pain was actually my muscle that I had strained.

If you think it may be asthma related you should really speak to your doctor about that.

The vomiting worries me too if it has been going on for more then a week.... how long have these symptoms been coming together?
