Severe Chronic Pain- Need Your Professional Assistance

Severe chronic back pain for several years.  Unable to live a normal life. In my 50’s.  Have had every type of treatment imaginable- outcome- no one can find the core of my pain.    

Systems- The pain is located in the upper side of my  back, causing chronic muscle spasms and severe swelling, scraping, and stabbing. Feels like muscles rubbing over muscles, shooting pain into the neck and head. The right side of my back swells up 2-3 times the size of the left side. Moving side to side causes uncontrollable mid back pain.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Have you had a consult with a board certified spine surgeon or recent imaging studies of the painful area?
I would start there and see what they recommend. Without a proper diagnosis, treatment suggestions are likely not going to help.

Anyone can be disgusted with back pain. It can ruin our life. have you ever considered consulting a professional? A qualified chiropractor can help. They can help your body heal by itself. I had one for years, and I underwent a lot of medication, but nothing changed. But as per my friend’s suggestion, I thought of going for a chiropractic practice. It worked out for me, and I wish I had done it sooner. Chiropractic care is similar to professional massage therapy. So, please consider a chiropractor as one of your options; he or she may be able to assist you. I suggest you go to a chiro; they might help better than you think. They can determine what’s your exact problem. So keep a chiropractor in mind if you are thinking of any alternative therapy.

I would NOT recommend a chiropractor given your symptoms- you need a proper diagnosis, imaging , and a treatment plan. Obvious swelling, increased sudden pain are symptoms that need a proper diagnosis first before ANY manipulation of spine is done.
