Coming off of opiates/narcotic pain meds

Experiencing excruciating analgesic rebound headaches from all the Oxycodone and Hydrocodone I have been on for the past 14 months.  I have qnty: 7 Oxycodone 5mg left and also have an appointment with a pain specialist tomorrow morning at 10:00am.  I can NOT handle the headaches anymore!  They are BRUTAL!  My goal is to come off of the narcotic pain medication effective immediately with the help of these pain specialist and I'm praying that they can prescribe me medications for the withdrawals that I am certain to experience.  I mean at is their specialty right? Can you guys please provide feedback, I need it badly!

Regards,

You will find lots of support as well as how to make withdrawal more tolerable on the substance abuse forum.  And lots of the people on that forum started taking pain pills for legiimate pain.

Yeah coming off immediately is the only thing that will work for me.  I do not trust myself to taper.

Check out the substance abuse forum for great tips on how to naturally help the withdrawals.  I at time get bad headaches, migraine type and I'm sure the narcotic are the cause.  Hopefully youroctor will coe up with a good plan for you  to come off.  I would taper but it souns'like you want to come off immediately.
