Fentanyl 100 mcg on Hubby's Drug Screen?

My husband changes my 100 mcg Fentenyl patch every 3 days for me because I can't reach to do it on my upper back (I suffer from terrible Neuropathy).  Can it appear in his system when we goes for a drug test for a job?  I would feel horrible if he got turned down for the job because he assists me with this part of my care.  Please help!

In my opinion, the answer is no. There would not be enough of the drug to register in his system. Your Husband toushes it for such a short time with his fingertips that it really doesn't count.

Please don't worry. If you consult a Pharmacist, they will most likely tell you the same thing. And that probably wouldn't be a bad idea.

I really do not believe he would have any problem just from applying your patches. How does he apply it. Does he touch the sticky side when he does? Different brands have different dispensing methods for the Fentanyl  some are in the entire patch while some have the medicine in the center.
Either way I honestly do not think he will have a problem though.
